Arnold Trio

Shuichi Okada violin   Manuel Vioque-Judde viola   Bumjun Kim cello

The Arnold Trio was born from the meeting of three young soloists, senior members of the Seiji Ozawa International Academy, Shuichi Okada (violin), Manuel Vioque-Judde (viola) and Bumjun Kim (cello).

Winners of major international competitions (Primrose, Tertis, Markneukirchen, Lipizer, Osaka), they are regularly called upon to perform on the greatest stages in France and abroad as soloists or in chamber music.

Greatly influenced by the practice of chamber music within the prestigious academy of the conductor Seiji Ozawa, the trio is characterized by the constant search for a sound of great homogeneity usually reserved exclusively for string quartets.

Its first recording, devoted to Beethoven’s String Trios Op. 9 (Mirare, 2021), received five stars from Classica and a Diapason d’Or.

The Arnold Trio is in residence at the Singer-Polignac Foundation since 2019.
